Jil Sutaria - Impact of supraharmonics and quasi DC on the operation of residual current devices

Jil Sutaria has completed an M.Tech in Power Electronics, Machines, and Drives from Nirma University, Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India in 2013. She has more than five years of experience in teaching and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. degree in electric power engineering at Luleå Technical University, Skellefteå, Sweden. She is currently working on supraharmonic emissions in large installations with a focus on data centers. Her main areas of interest include Power Quality, Power electronic converter design, and Electromagnetic compatibility.
Jil will be discussing: Impact of supraharmonics and quasi-dc on the operation of residual current devices.
The presentation will focus on the propagation of supraharmonics to protective earth conductor from different devices and the impact of supraharmonics and quasi-dc on the operation of RCD. The presentation is based on the measurements performed in the laboratory at Luleå University of Technology, Skellefteå. The methodology and outcomes will be discussed in detail.
