Exploring a vintage post office meter

  • I found this old post office meter. It has no model number but I believe its a BT 12-D or something close to it. These kind of linesmen meters were built for such a long time by many companies that there are lots of variants out there. I was intrigued by the fact that it needs battery power to operate (not just for the ohms) and this "dangerous voltage / fuse blown" indicator I had not seen before.
