  • Heirs to huge fortunes of tens, even hundreds of millions of pounds, these mega-rich twentysomethings are part of the planet’s wealthiest 1%. This small circle of privileged young people flaunt their lavish lifestyles on social media, reality tv, and in magazines. A golden youth who embrace their wealth, and are not afraid of causing controversy.
Jean-Marie De Saint Ange, aged 35, comes from a prestigious lineage of French nobility. He became a millionaire by creating his own clothing brand, dressing thousands of employees at luxury hotels, airlines, and yacht crews. A budding philanthropist, he has invested over a million euros in a revolutionary treatment to stop smoking.
At just 25, Emir Bahadir – heir to a Turkish property empire – has a fortune of around 350 million pounds. He could have never worked a day in his life, but driven by an exceptional ego and ambition, he’s founded his own high-end estate agents in New York.
Cathy Lugner, 27, is from a middle-class family in Germany – she dreams of one thing: a life of luxury. Three years ago, her life turned around when she met Richard Lugner, an Austrian real-estate giant. He’s 81 years old with a fortune of 150 million euros. So, despite their 57-year age gap, they married 8 months later in an over-the-top ceremony. Though their marriage was short-lived, Cathy is set on continuing this lavish lifestyle, by whatever means necessary.
For several months, we follow their extraordinary daily lives.
